Hi Reader,
If you noticed this newsletter went silent after January, you noticed correctly.
I owe you the real reason - not a polished one. I stopped because I was tired. Not physically. Mentally.
I was writing without validation. Few leads. Almost no feedback. And every week I watched people produce content with AI, generate visuals with ChatGPT and image models, and build polished pages in minutes.
So, I asked myself a hard question:
"I am a CA student preparing for my exams, finishing SPOM, attending classes why am I spending energy on a newsletter that nobody seems to need?"
I did not have a good answer at the time. So I stepped away.
Two things pulled me back.
One - my very first subscriber, who happens to be a friend, reached out on LinkedIn and asked why I had stopped. A small message, but it landed.
Two - last week at a client's office, a senior leader from a large group company observed my work and said something I had been dismissing about myself for months:
"A person who understands both technology and compliance is genuinely rare. You have that. Don't undersell it."
That was the turning point.
I realised I had been writing the wrong newsletter. Motivation and productivity content is everywhere. What is not everywhere is someone who sits at the intersection of finance, compliance, and technology - and writes about it from the trenches.
So here is what this space becomes from today:
Technology for finance - what is worth your time and what isn't
AI for finance - practical tools you can use this week (not theory, not hype)
Study tips for CA students, written by someone still in the journey
Business formation and compliance - clean, usable explanations
A few changes you should know about:
New cadence - two newsletter editions per week, plus three LinkedIn posts per week.
A Calendly link is being set up. You will be able to book a free 30-minute slot to walk me through a query, a workflow problem, or a compliance question.
The link will go live in the next edition.
Replies to this newsletter come straight to me. If there is a topic you want covered, hit reply.
To everyone who stayed subscribed during the silence - thank you.
That meant more than you know.
Let's begin again.
